Name of your website?

Restaurants and Food in Cuernavaca, Morelos and Mexico

Your name?

Ray Washonk

Your Location (city, etc)

Cuernavaca, State of Morelos

Please give us a short summary of your website?

This page shows the most important restaurants and food services in the citiy of Cuernavaca, State of Morelos, including addresses and phone numbers of the restaurants and food delivery services. We mention all kind of food related enterprises, from Taco stands on markets to high class dining restaurants.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Since we couldn't find a page in english which showed more than one or two restaurants for the city of Cuernavaca, we decided to put a page on the internet, where interested people from around the world can get information about the food related services in the area.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

We first had lauched a website about multimedia content, mostly for exchange of material between artists.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

We made a descriptive title for the web page so that people could relate it easily to what they were looking for.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Our site in english language shows more restaurants than just one or two, also we are going to include all kind of food related services such as delivery and catering, competent authorities and more.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

We want to build a site wich provides information for the english speaking tourist or visitor of Cuernavaca and Morelos in Mexico. We plan to offer space for banners in our pages.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

At the beginning , we have to invest a lot of effort and time but we are sure we will obtain some earnings from our site.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

We would hire a huge sales force in order to sel the banners among our potential clients such as restaurants, hotels and food related service providers.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes , of course. It would just mean that we would need to hire more staff and put attention to the supervision.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None at this moment

What has been your biggest challenge?

To find a good provider for the webspace has been a challenge, sincºe there are so many offers but they turn out to be frecuently down.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

We anounce our site in directories in order to built traffic.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

We are running just as expected, beginning though and with a relatively low budget.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

This page has been up for some weeks now and we will keep it up for as long as possible without making losses.

Are we proud of our work?

Yes, we are proud of what we have done so far and hope to succeed in building a quality web site of general interest for tourists and providers of the food related industries.

What is your website address?
