Mar de Cortez, better known in the Enlgish language as The Sea of Cortez, is located on Mexico's western pacific coast. Mar de Cortez was first extensively explored by Jacques Cousteau, the famous French explorer. Since then, professionals and amateurs from across the globe have traveled to the Sea of Cortez to dive there.
