Let's got some change of scenery and get out of the urban jungles of Mexican City. Check out the state of Tabasco in southeastern Mexico!
This state has some important cities in it like Cocona, and Villhermosa, but it is more rural and urban, filled with beaches and marshes. It is also a haven for archaeologists as many historic sites are located here, such as Comalcalco.
So if you are an ecotourist, archaeologist, or plain tourist who likes to see something new, then Tabasco is the place to be in.
